The Extreme Mega Lite has been making a very big impression on the RV industry over the past few years. Although they may look alot like it’s older step brother, the Weekend Warrior, the Mega Lite is definitely unique in alot of ways.

Extreme Mega Lite Toy Hauler

The first thing that you will notice is that the Mega Lite has an extremely light price tag compared to the Warrior. You can sometimes score a 19′ Extreme starting at $18,999 if you play your cards right! Once you start to add on all the goodies is when your MSRP will go up drastically. So try to keep the accessories and add-ons to a minimum to get the best price. You can always add on or upgrade your toy hauler in the long run, so it is just not worth it to pay the price up front. Also, try to stay away from extreme’s special edition interior packages which can sometimes add on over $2,000 extra just for the color and fabric.

Many times the sales person will claim that the extreme is the lightest in the industry and that there is not another toy hauler that is lighter. This is probably not completely true, there are many other toy haulers that weigh even less than the extreme, but the mega lite is definitely one of the lightest on the market. The reason for its lightness is mostly in the frame. The frame underneath the box of the trailer has a swiss cheese style design which is supposedly built that way to eliminate the extra weight of having a solid steel frame. This style of frame is supposed to be just as strong and sturdy as any other type of RV frame, yet it weighs considerably less.

Overall the Extreme Mega Lite ToyHauler is a good trailer at a reasonable price. Anybody who is looking for a discount toy hauler should definitely take a look at the Extreme Mega-Lite!

When you are selecting which rental company you are going to book your rv with, there are some things to keep in mind that will help you decide upon the best RV rental company to suit your needs. There are also questions which you should always ask every company prior to renting an rv.

Does the company have a proven track record?

Sometimes discount rv rental companies will tend to not maintain their rental rv’s as well as a larger and slightly higher in cost company would. So sometimes just because you are getting a discount on your rv rental, it does not mean that you aren’t going to pay for it in some way or another.

Are the RV’s well kept and maintained?

At first glance almost any RV is going to be a beautiful sight. Take a closer look and are the rental RV’s well kept and maintained with a fine tooth comb? Check for things like clean floors and carpets and also check drawers and cupboards for proper function. If it is a motor home, does the motor crank over right away and does the A/C in the RV work well? You should always go through the RV that you intend to rent, prior to placing your reservations with the company. There is almost nothing worse than getting out to your vacation destination in your rented RV, and then realizing that there are some things that are not working. The worst case scenario something major like your water system or your generator may have problems. This is something that you definitely do not want to happen. Always go through the entire unit with the RV technician a couple days before your trip so that the technician can make any needed repairs.

Does the RV have all the necessary accommodations for you and your guests?

When first selecting the RV that you are going to rent for your trip, you should try to picture yourself out wherever it is that you intend to go. Once you can imagine yourself out on vacation then check to make sure that the RV is going to have everything that you and your guests are going to want and need. Make sure that the sleeping accommodations are well suited and also check to make sure that there will be adequate room in the RV to comfortably entertain all your guests when you are inside the RV. Will you be going out to a sunny place? Then you should check to see if the RV has a sun awning to block the sun and the heat. Little things like the awning are what is going to make your vacation enjoyable.

These are just some of the most important factors to remember when selecting where and what type of RV you are going to rent on your vacation. The number one thing is that when you are out in the RV is that you are supposed to have a good time. Part of having a good time is being well prepared!

The newly instated program is in an effort to help increase customer appreciation.  The new program will basically increase the effectiveness of the Good Sam Roadside service by connecting Good Sam members directly with certified and experienced technician’s who will be able to properly offer technical advice via telephone or send the proper equiptment and personnel to the road side calls.

Have you ever wondered how safe your motorhome would be when it came to a fire onboard?

This video will show you the devastating effects of what happens when an RV catches fire. The camera is mounted in the dash of the fire engine to give you a first hand view of what it is like when the fire department first approaches the scene of the burning RV.

As the truck approaches the neighborhood, you can already see the giant plume of smoke in the sky coming from the motorhome. By the time that fire fighters get to the flames, the motorhome is fully engulfed without a chance of survival.

Many people tend to let their guard down while out RV’ing with their friends and family. That is mainly due to the fact that they are supposed to be out having fun. This video is a good reminder that even though you are supposed to enjoy yourself while camping or going anywhere in your RV, you should also always take caution when it comes to RV safety.

The famous Alfa Lesiure RV Manufacturer has sadly shut the doors and closed down their company as of April 30, 2008.  The manufacturer which was formerly based in Ontario, Ca has been producing some of the sleekest and most classically designed Rv’s including motorhomes which were sold under the, See Ya brand name and they also produced other Rv’s such as ToyBox’s.

The company had brought in a completely new management team approximately 3 months before shutting down for good.  The new management team was it’s final attempt at trying to turn the company around for the better.

“This is a sad day for Alfa Leisure and for the RV community” stated Founder and CEO Johnnie Crean, “We gave this company our all, fought tooth and nail and in spite of a Herculean effort, could not overcome the financial headwinds that continue to plaque our industry.”

Although there are still quite a  few Rv manufacturers still up and running, the nations current economy is in no way aiding these large rv manufacturers.  Current gas prices are only one of the many factors that are troubling the rv industry.  Not to mention, the current home crisis is also taking it’s toll.  Many people used to take out equity from their homes to make an RV purchase.  That is something that is no longer seen, or atleast very rare.

Alfa Leisure has no plans at the moment to begin another project and it is just one of the many RV manufactures who need to take action in order to survive the current economical situation.

Many people do not think they can buy a RV, but there is RV financing for people with bankruptcy in their past. Bankruptcies stay on your credit report for seven to ten years, but you can start establishing good credit soon after filing. You may start out with a small-secured credit card, but as you pay off the balance, your credit history starts to improve. By building up a new credit history that shows positive credit, your credit score also starts to improve. You can build up positive credit history and then start looking for the RV of your dreams.

You might have to look for a used RV camper trailer, but you can follow your dream of traveling in style. The lenders look at your income verses your debt ratio. Since you are debt free except for that small credit card that you are using to build good credit, you are considered for a loan. You can only file bankruptcy every seven years. Therefore, many lenders will find you a good risk for financing. You might have some concerns before you go looking for a RV, but you can even check with a lender and see if they will pre-approve you for a loan.

RV financing for people with bankruptcy does not mean you have to do without the things that you want. It is like starting over and you have another chance to improve your credit and not take on more debt than what you can afford. Lenders look at your income and make a decision about you as a risk. If you have a good paying job, chances are, you can find a lender that will work with you so you can buy that RV that you want. Do not let a prior bankruptcy stop you from buying something you really want.

If you find a RV and need to talk about RV financing for people with bankruptcy, you can find many lenders that have solutions for your needs. You might not find this true with a dealership financing, but you can look at a lender that you can talk to directly. Bankruptcy does not mean you can never buy anything on credit again. It means lenders will look at the amount of debt you have now and will use caution before overextending your credit. When you think about it, this is sort of like having a credit counselor looking out for you this time.

You can find some very nice RVs for under $80,000 and RV financing for people with bankruptcy just means they will offer you a slightly higher interest rate unless you have successfully raised your credit score somewhat after the bankruptcy. Take the time and check different lenders until you find one that has a low interest rate and will finance a nice RV with affordable payments. Start shopping around for an RV and then do the same for a lender until you find exactly what you are looking for in both cases.

Even if you need RV financing for bad credit history, you can find many lenders that are willing to work with you so you can buy the RV you have always dreamed about owning. Different lenders look at bad credit differently. If you have some credit problems, be up front with the lender and they can work with you to see what will be the best possible loan for you. There are many things to consider when someone has bad credit. There reasons why the credit has flaws and most lenders will ask questions to see what the reason was for the poor credit history.

Many people are under the impression that they cannot obtain credit for an RV because they have less than perfect credit. RV financing for bad credit is easy to obtain, you just have to check with different lenders to find out which ones will work with you and find you the best loan. Just because you have bad credit does not mean you have to go without the RV that will allow you some freedom. Many lenders charge a slightly higher interest rate for those with less than perfect credit, but you can still afford the payments.

You can look for RV financing for bad credit and see what they can do for you. They will discuss all the different plans they have and what the monthly payments would be for your RV. If you have any flaws in your credit, they will discuss everything with you and determine if you are a good risk. You might have late payments, unpaid debt or a bankruptcy on file. The lender will look at everything including your current employment as well as how much you make verse you debt and decide if you will be a good candidate for a loan.

Once everything is clear, you can discuss different payment plans, the interest rate and how many months you can have the financing for in terms of months. RV financing for bad credit is just like applying for credit with perfect credit except you have to answer a few more questions. Just because you less than perfect credit, do not let that keep you from owning your own RV for traveling. Everyone wants to enjoy life and RV travels is just another way to get away. You just have to take that first step to obtaining affordable financing.

Once you obtain RV financing for bad credit, you will start establishing good credit, so when you want to trade the RV in for a newer model, you will have less paperwork and less to explain. This is considered rebuilding your credit history and raising your credit score. The higher your credit score, the lower the interest rate. After a few years, you might even considering refinancing the RV and lowering the interest rate. Get out and find the RV that will fit your travel needs and then look for a lender that is going to do everything they can to make sure you receive the financing you need.

RV financing in California is just as it is anywhere else. You have many places to look at for RV motor home financing. Many places offer incentives to attract your attention. Zero percent down, no interest charges for ninety days and many other incentives are found in California. You can find a low interest loan that is comparable to owning your own home. If you take a second mortgage on your home, then you can even claim the interest paid on the RV if it has sleeping quarters, bathroom, and a kitchen area. This alone is a good reason to buy a RV.

The other reasons to buy a RV are that you can travel around the country and have some adventure. Many baby boomers are actually selling their homes and investing the money into a home on wheels. They will make their retirement year’s fun filled and exciting. They have raised their families and now is the time for them to see the world so to speak. Instead of buying a condominium in Florida or a timeshare in Arizona, they are taking to the road to live their retirement years. RV financing in California allows baby boomers to find the financing they can afford for the RV they want to retire in and travel.

Gas prices are still a little high, so you want to consider the type of RV you want and se if you want gas or diesel. Compare the prices of each fuel type as well as mileage that the RV will get on the highway to see what would be the best fuel to fit your budget. You do not have spend a lot on gas. You are going to spend time in RV parks and campgrounds enjoying the outdoors. After you decide on the right RV, look for a lender that offers some incentives for using their financial institute.

Even when you are looking for good incentives, do not forget to look into the future. If the first year or two is good, but the years after that change, you might be better checking with RV financing in California that offers less incentives, but a good payment plan for the entire time you own the RV. You want to enjoy your travels and nor worry about payments changing or depreciation of the RV. Always compare financial institutes to see where you are going to find the best deal.

The class A RV financing in California is going to be different from the financing for a diesel RV. You have to check with the lenders after you decide what will be the best buy to fit your monthly budget. Always make sure you have enough money left to enjoy your travels in the RV. You can always refinance later if you feel a need to lower the payments or pay the RV off faster. You might even decide after a few year that you want a newer RV, make sure this is something that will not affect your payments or loan status.

Are you looking for RV camper financing? Low rate interest loans are more affordable than many people think. The only thing you need to think about is whether to buy new or used. New RV loans are just as affordable as the used RV loans because you have different plans to choose from as far as the years to pay back the loan. Even if you buy a used RV, you can still take the loan out for fifteen years. You just have to look around and find a lender that will work with you on financing and give you the best interest rate and the amount of time you need to pay the loan back.

If you buy a used RV and need financing, you will find that lender will look at the year and condition of the RV. The miles and the engine condition are something else that lenders consider. Keep in mind that lenders will not give you a loan for something that is going to need work soon. It is the same as buying a home, you have an inspector come in and check things out to make sure you do not need to spend any money as soon as you buy your home. If they say that you should for a different RV, it might be for your own good. They do like to give financing for something that you are going to have for a while and not need a large amount of money to keep it going.

If you buy a new RV trailer, you will find that RV camper financing, low rate interest loans are just as affordable today as it is to buy a home. They are seen as low as 4.49 percent. This means that you could buy a RV for $120,000 and still have low monthly payments without the need to pay property taxes. You will have a home on wheels without the need for spending money to keep it in one place.

Even if you pay $500 a month on financing, you can still enjoy traveling. It does not cost that much to park in a campground somewhere and enjoy the outdoors. RV camper financing, low rate interest and affordable insurance will make your dreams come true. You can travel anywhere and visit family and friends without spending any money on hotels, restaurants and everything else. You can dine in your motor home, sleep, and shower and entertain without spending all that money.

Be sure to check around for RV camper financing, low rate interest and insurance so you can find the best deal on everything. The lower the payments, the more money you will have to enjoy your travels and explore the countryside. You can even work from home in your RV motor home. Just hook up satellite Internet and you are on your way to freedom on the road and still pay the bills. Look for a new or used RV today and start traveling tomorrow.
